With 3,500 technical operations staff and facilities, Air Canada provides the technical and logistical support that maintains airline fleets from around the world. The airline's main base in Montreal has grown to over 1.5 million square feet of workspace.
Air Canada's corporate real estate department and Grenier Richards Architects have been working together since 1994 to provide new and improved facilities for a wide variety of functions, from offices and cafeteria to technical shops and cargo handling. Construction projects have been concentrated at the base and at the Dorval Airport main terminal and cargo village.
